RentAgent.homes ("we", "us", "our") helps renters discover listings, book viewings, and apply for homes. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Contact details — name, email, and phone number you provide in the rental funnel.
Search preferences — budget, bedrooms, target city, move-in date, and must-have tags.
Documents — files you upload (e.g., ID, proof of income) for rental applications, stored in encrypted object storage.
Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe; we never store your full card number.

How We Use It

To match you with relevant listings and book viewings on your behalf.
To send you viewing confirmations and updates about your applications.
To process subscription payments for paid plans.

Data Sharing

We share your information only with service providers needed to run the service (Supabase for storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Vercel for hosting and file storage), and with landlords/agents when you choose to apply or book a viewing. We do not sell your personal data.

Document Storage

Uploaded documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage and are only retrievable by authenticated staff and yourself. They are transmitted over TLS.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@rentagent.homes. If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have additional rights regarding your data.
